Les quatre cents coups
The movie deals with the troubles which an average adolescence boy can get into - when understanding towards him lacks in the family. Antoine is a young lad who has never done wrong to anyone , goes to school and despite engaging in normal teenager mischiefs is just like your next door kid. His parents rarely pay attention to him -it almost seems that his existance is noticed only when he needs some money or when his mother demands something from him.
The Spanish Gardener
Despite the year in which this movie is made - it is worth seeing nowadays and I am glad that I was able to dig it out of my collection. The Spanish Gardener is a British movie and as such it carries the atmosphere typical for the movies produced in the country.
Billy Gilman - Dream a Dream
I have always been a fan of Billy Gilman. And while browsing my collection if his video clips I rediscovered his excellent duet with Charlotte Church. Honestly finding words to describe what I feel while listening is a hard - almost impossible task.
I am not scared
I wanted to see this movie so badly - but got a decent copy of it only recently. Now having seen it - I can say that it is one of the best coming of age tales with a thriller elements I have ever seen.
Exploring the island
Do you know the movie Verano Azul ? No….that`s really weird - well its a very popular Spanish television show that for most Europeans became a symbol of a well spend summer vacation. In any case I have included the clip with the theme song at the end of this post…
