Brevity is the soul of wit. It is just remarkable how many messages one could put into a 10-minute-movie format.

A nice short film that could leave one thoughtful. Points for the good acting - this boy as the torn-between character is doing a great job, I think.

I'm glad you reviewed it here - also by offering some different interpretations on it.

Greetings, Ikarus

sort of retarded in my opinion...I just started to use RS 3 weeks ago and have earned 40,000 points so I extended my account and got the amazon.com coupon for 25 euro. Sold to a friend dollar for dollar to USD so I could get real spending money for sites I trust with my account info.

The issue I have is only 1 per account. Rather crappy considering all the crap you can get from rapidshare.com ..I think there shouldn't be a limit on how many items we can get a item.

Either way rapidshare makes a killing off its uploaders and I like the site but would be nice if we could get more stuff with our left over points.

The real reason this particular movie has been held for 6 years is because it was an independent film made on a 2 million dollar budget. The movie itself was shot over a period of about 3months in St. George, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada. The director (Rocco DeVilliers) did most of the work himself and "beg, borrowed, and stole" everything else. It has actually just taken 6 years of post-production to finish the film. Also, because it was not picked up by a Studio they are slowly distributing it themselves. Currently it is in Utah, and soon in Arizona.

I thought this was an excellent movie however a bit sad. The amount of adversity this young man experiences is incredible. His life is anything but common or easy. Mother leaves, father abandons him and many other very hard scenarios occur that he overcomes. It is more a tribute to this young man's ability to adapt and overcome.

I think it shows that your ability to affect a life may be easier than you think. You may be able to save the world one person at a time.

We are indeed our brother's keeper. And we have been derilect in our duties.
Cheers,

The reason they hold a movie for release is that they figure the star is
going to be famous. If they hold it and the person turns into a star
they increase their box office draw significantly. A great example is
Sharon Stone in "The Shootist". They sat on that film (actually her
first film) for fourteen years! They raked in major bucks and only
paid her pennies by comparison to what they would have had to pay here the year before release.
The studios also have time limits sometimes on royalties. If the actor
gets royalties for four years after completion instead of four years
after release then they can save/make a bundle of money by waiting.

Looks interesting. I guess I'll have to watch it. The trailer was awesome. I didn't realize you tagged it. Nicely done again, a class act.
